Sanctuary Oysters on Vacation
Get ready for our oysters to take a break! A vacation allows our oysters to relax, recharge, and soak up the late season sunshine. But why do oysters need a break? Each year in the late summer and early fall months, the natural conditions of the oyster’s environment are not favorable to support the oysters through the stress caused during harvesting and distribution. At Sanctuary Oysters, we care deeply about our oysters’ wellbeing. That’s why we make the bold decision to stop production rather than possibly harm our little gems during the process.
In the meantime, our Pacific oysters enjoy the breathtaking views of the El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve, the cool ocean breeze, and the chance to fatten up in preparation for the winter months ahead! At Sanctuary Oysters, we aim to harvest the freshest, most sustainable, mouthwatering Pacific oysters.
As the summer comes to a close, we are preparing to not just send our oysters on vacation but to allow our hardworking team to enjoy some well-deserved time off. At Sanctuary Oysters, maintaining a work life balance is important to us and this break gives our team an opportunity to spend some quality time with their families and focus on their health.
Don’t fret, our oysters will be back before you know it and we promise are worth the wait! In the meantime, If you have any questions about our pause in production, please feel free to contact us at info@solazul.com.mx.
